Pastor Poat was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Andy and his wife, Rachelle, along with their three children have lived in Arlington, Washington since 2005. He put his trust in the Lord Jesus as his Savior after being confronted with the reality of his sin and the judgment to come, at the age of 11. Since that time, he has done his best to follow the leading of the Lord in his life. He was added to the membership of Fellowship Baptist Church of Arlington at the age of 20 after being scripturally baptized. After his marriage to Rachelle in 2005, they began leading the children’s church ministry. This is when he surrendered his life to preach and teach the gospel. He was trained for the gospel ministry through the Bible Institute, while attending Fellowship Baptist Church. After showing faithfulness to lead the children’s ministry, he and Rachelle took leadership of the young adult ministries in 2016. He was ordained into the gospel ministry in 2023. He then co-pastored with Pastor Greg Stiff from October 2023 until taking the role of pastor in October 2024. His greatest desire is to see souls won to Christ and to be trained as leaders themselves in the gospel ministry.
